Features

Syncfusion® Essential JS 2 for Angular component packages are now compatible with Angular 22, delivering enhanced performance, faster build times, reduced bundle sizes, and an improved development experience. The packages continue to support Angular 20 and later versions.
Standalone UI SDKs (v35.1 and Later)

The Essential Studio UI Edition includes access to Standalone UI SDKs, providing all UI components across supported platforms, excluding PDF Viewer, Spreadsheet, and Document Editor. Organizations can choose from individual standalone component offerings or a comprehensive UI suite based on application requirements and licensing preferences.
Added WebMCP support for the following Syncfusion controls, enabling MCP-based integration, interaction, and automation capabilities:
- Data Grid
- Rich Text Editor (RTE)
- Scheduler
- Diagram
- Gantt Chart
- Charts
- File Manager
- Pivot Table

Breaking Changes

Starting with version 35.1.37, styles are no longer distributed within individual component packages. All component styles must now be referenced through the centralized theme packages.

Applications that previously imported styles from component packages should update their references to use the theme packages. For more details and migration guidance, refer to the Theme Package Documentation.
Starting with Syncfusion® Essential JS 2 for Angular v35.1.37, View Engine (ngcc) compatibility has been removed from the Angular component packages. Applications must use the Ivy rendering engine, which has been the Angular default since v13.

-The minimum supported Angular version is now 20. Syncfusion® Angular components will support Angular 20 and later versions going forward, aligned with the latest Angular and Long-Term Support (LTS) releases.

Response animation template: Now the AI AssistView supports custom response animation templates, enabling users to replace the default skeleton loader with their own animation UI. The custom template is displayed while the AI response is being generated and is automatically replaced once the response content is rendered.

Footer toolbar left item align: Now the AI AssistView supports aligning footer toolbar items to the left side of the footer toolbar in the Inline mode, allowing users to customize the placement of built-in and custom toolbar actions for improved layout flexibility and user experience.

Now the AI AssistView provides a new attachmentRemoving event, allowing users to intercept attachment removal actions and access details of the file being removed. This enables custom validation, state management, and attachment handling before the removal is completed.

Web Model Context Protocol (WebMCP): Added support for WebMCP, enabling AI models and agents to interact with files and folders through built-in tools. The beforeWebMcpToolExecute event allows users to inspect, modify, or cancel tool execution before it runs.

Dashboard Layout

Features

Features

Enabled Web Model Context Protocol (WebMCP) support, allowing AI agents and external applications to perform File Manager operations such as file navigation, searching, filtering, item selection, and other file interactions through a standardized interface.
Enhanced the fileOpen event with a new action argument, allowing users to identify whether the event was triggered by actions such as drag-and-drop, double-click, keyboard interaction, or context menu selection, and prevent file opening when required.

Form Builder `Preview`

The Angular Form Builder provides a visual form-authoring experience for creating dynamic, schema-driven forms through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Built on Syncfusion components, it supports end-to-end form creation with capabilities such as field customization, live form preview, JSON schema generation, validation configuration, conditional rules, expression-based calculations, custom validation logic, and more.

Inline AI Assist

Features

Speech to Text: Now the Inline AI Assist supports built-in Speech-to-Text functionality, allowing users to input prompts and messages using voice recognition. Speech recognition settings can be configured using the speechToTextSettings property.

MultiSelect

Features

Added support for the Summary Tag Template feature through the summaryTagCount and summaryTagTemplate properties. When the number of selected items exceeds the configured threshold, a custom formatted summary is displayed in the input field instead of individual selection tags, improving performance when using CheckBox mode with large datasets and the SelectAll option. Pivot Table

Added support for Web MCP (Model Context Protocol), enabling AI agents and external applications to interact with Pivot Table reports through a standardized tool-based interface. This support allows programmatic operations such as report configuration, field management, filtering, sorting, drill operations, formatting, chart interactions, and exporting.

Breaking Changes

As part of API naming improvements, the repeatItemLabels property has been deprecated. Its functionality is now provided by the repeatRowHeaderLabels property, ensuring backward compatibility while promoting a clearer and more consistent API.

Features

Live Data Point: Added live update support in the Stock Chart control using the addPoint and setData methods. This feature allows users to add new data points in real time and update existing points dynamically, ensuring smooth visualization of continuously changing stock market data with improved performance and responsiveness.
Performance for StockChart: Improved the initial rendering performance of the Stock Chart control for large data sets. Optimizations in series processing, point rendering, and chart initialization have reduced the rendering time for 500,000 data points from ~20 seconds to 3–4 seconds. This enhancement significantly improves chart loading speed, reduces UI latency, and ensures a more responsive experience when visualizing large-scale financial data.

Tree Grid

Features
