Display tooltip on tab header in EJ2 JavaScript Tab control
4 Jan 20256 minutes to read
You can enhance the user experience of your Tab control by displaying tooltips for the tab headers. This feature provides hint text when users hover their mouse over a tab header. To implement this, you’ll use the beforeRender
event of the Essential JS 2 Tooltip control.
Here’s an example of how to add tooltips to your tab headers:
ej.base.enableRipple(true);
var tabObj = new ej.navigations.Tab({
heightAdjustMode: 'Auto',
items: [
{
header: { 'text': 'Twitter' },
content: 'Twitter is an online social networking service that enables users to send and read short 140-character ' +
'messages called "tweets". Registered users can read and post tweets, but those who are unregistered can only read ' +
'them. Users access Twitter through the website interface, SMS or mobile device app Twitter Inc. is based in San ' +
