Description

The Gantt Chart supports programmatic sorting through the sortColumn and clearSorting methods. Sorting can be enabled by setting the allowSorting to true In this example, choose a column and sort direction from the property panel, then click the Sort button to apply sorting. Click the Clear button to remove the applied sorting. Users can also sort columns interactively by clicking the column headers. Multi-column sorting is supported by holding the CTRL key while selecting additional column headers. Injecting Module: Gantt component features are segregated into individual feature-wise modules. To use selection feature, inject the Selection module using the Gantt.Inject(Selection) method. To use sort feature, inject the Sort module using the Gantt.Inject(Sort) method. To use markers feature, inject the DayMarkers module using the Gantt.Inject(DayMarkers) method. More information on the Essential® JS2 Gantt Chart can be found in this sorting documentation section.
