Load the content as partial view to Accordion in ASP.NET MVC Accordion control

Since Accordion is a Navigation control, it doesn’t have support to load any content directly or using any DataAdaptor. But it is provided with the items support. So to load the content as partial view, you would need to make use of the AJAX or EJ2 Datamanager as described in our How-To section help document.

In the below demo, we have explained on how to create the Accordion items dynamically and then to load the other Syncfusion controls in it from partial views.

razor
partialview.cs
<div class="control-section">
        <div class="control_wrapper accordion-control-section">

           @Html.EJS().Accordion("MainAccordion").Created("Created").Expanding("Expanding").Render()

        </div>
    </div>

<script>
    var loaded = false;
    function Created(e) {

        var AccObj = document.getElementById("MainAccordion").ej2_instances[0];
        var ajax = new ej.base.Ajax('@Url.Action("PartialView1", "Accordion")', 'GET', true);
        ajax.send().then();
        ajax.onSuccess = function (data) {
            AccObj.addItem({ header: 'Grid1' , content: "<br/><div id='GridOrder1'></div>", expanded: true },0);
            AccObj.addItem({ header: 'Grid2' , content: "<br/><div id='GridOrder2'></div>" },1);
            $("#GridOrder1").html(data);
        }

    }
    function Expanding(e) {

        if(e.index != 0 && !loaded){
            var AccObj = document.getElementById("MainAccordion").ej2_instances[0];
            var ajax = new ej.base.Ajax('@Url.Action("PartialView2", "Home")', 'GET', true);
            ajax.send().then();
            ajax.onSuccess = function (data) {
                $("#GridOrder2").html(data);
                loaded = true;
            }
        }

    }
</script>

//Code in the PartialView

@Html.EJS().Grid("Grid").Height(250).DataSource(dataManger =>
{
   dataManger.Url("https://ej2services.syncfusion.com/production/web-services/api/Orders").CrossDomain(true).Adaptor("WebApiAdaptor");
}).Columns(col =>
    {

    col.Field("OrderID").HeaderText("Order ID").Width("120").TextAlign(Syncfusion.EJ2.Grids.TextAlign.Right).Add();
    col.Field("CustomerID").HeaderText("Customer ID").Width("160").Add();
    col.Field("EmployeeID").HeaderText("Employee ID").Width("120").TextAlign(Syncfusion.EJ2.Grids.TextAlign.Right).Add();
    col.Field("Freight").HeaderText("Freight").Width("150").Format("C2").TextAlign(Syncfusion.EJ2.Grids.TextAlign.Right).Add();
    col.Field("ShipCountry").HeaderText("Ship Country").Width("150").Add();

    }).AllowPaging().PageSettings(page=>page.PageCount(3)).Render()

@Html.EJS().ScriptManager()
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Threading.Tasks;
using Microsoft.AspNetCore.Mvc;

namespace EJ2CoreSampleBrowser.Controllers
{
    public partial class AccordionController : Controller
    {
        // GET: //
        public IActionResult DefaultFunctionalities()
        {
            return View();
        }
        public ActionResult PartialView1()
        {

            return PartialView();

        }

        public ActionResult PartialView2()
        {

            return PartialView();

        }

    }
}

Output be like the below.
